The Information Science group cooperates with the National Institute of Informatics (NII) Tokyo to offer paid research internships in Tokyo to master and PhD students affiliated with the University of Konstanz.
The NII is Japan’s premiere research institute in informatics. Before coming to the University of Konstanz, Bela Gipp and Norman Meuschke completed a year-long research stay at the NII during which they initiated this cooperation agreement. As part of the agreement, the Information Science group can nominate 2 master or PhD students per semester for a research internship position at the NII.
The internships have a duration of up to 6 months. Selected candidates receive a monthly salary of 171,000 JPY, which is sufficient to cover living expenses in Tokyo.
If you are interested in an internship, preferably as part of your master project or thesis with us, or have other questions, please contact Bela Gipp.
